The Aviso Technology Platform allows for the identical duplication of a hand crafted surfboard using a proprietary method of manufacturing. The primary elements of the boards include carbon fiber of varying orientations, specialized high density foam, and epoxy resins. The boards are completely hollow. A High Temperature Fiber Placement Process allows the boards to be some of the lightest and strongest boards ever designed and produced. Nothing ties the top and bottom components of the boards together except for the rails. This enables the deck and bottom to work and flex independently. This unique feature acts as a suspension system to launch the surfer from one turn into the next with remarkable control and momentum.

At the age of 15, Mark Raaphorst began working with fiberglass in the harbor of his hometown of Scheveningen, Holland. His desire to learn everything there was to know about fiberglass reinforced products and a love of the ocean led him to Hawaii. On Maui, he worked at Angulo Hawaii, considered at the time to be the leading producer of composite windsurf boards. During his tenure he helped design and create vacuum bag epoxy techniques which have now become the standard in this field. Since then he started Ding Kings Fiberglass Works, a small board repair shop which has now expanded to a broader composite and fabrication facility, now known as S.I.C.

If you live on or near flat water and are looking for a board specifically designed to take full advantage of these conditions, then this is your board. This board is a departure from the surfboard style bottom of race board. The hull shape is more like a modified lay down paddleboard or surfski. The result is a board with exceptional and effortless glide. This board is for the serious racer since it is more tippy. But even though it feels tippy it is easier to recover and if you are an experienced rider you will fall off less on a downwind run. This board will also go upwind well since the bow can cut through the chop. On the downwind it jumps on bumps with less effort and glides farther. If it matters to you what place you finish this is the board to get. Its faster and less effort to paddle long distances. Boards like this took all the top places at Battle of the Paddle. Can be outfitted with a rudder if needed. This is the future of SUP racing. Get one and leave your friends in your wake

The Surf series standups feature a narrower nose and tail shape, with a rounded pintail tri-fin design. This increased outline curve produces a looser board made specifically for riding in the waves. The clean edge release in the tail of the board combined with the 2+1 tri-fin result in a board capable of generating incredible speed down the line. Whether it's knee high peelers or double overhead super juice, the Surf series provide confident takeoffs, bottom turns and cutbacks for riders looking to increase their level in the waves.
